Gary and Sherri Greenbaum , of North Potomac, MD Rich, Sherri and I could not be more excited about our purchase of our beautiful Lot in Hermosa Heights. Having watched the project from initial conception, we have been able to observe first hand your vision for a unique gated paradise over looking the Pacific Ocean. The process has been seamless, from picking out the property, through the closing with Title. We look forward to working with your architects to help us design our new 3000 sq ft vacation home. We are finding Playa Hermosa extremely accessible from Washington DC. There have been added fights and we know it will only get better as the Airport in Liberia continues with its expansion plans. Great job with the commercial center and pool! I was amazed how much progress was made just in the past eight months since I last visited. It is little wonder that the Villa's are almost all sold out. Look forward to seeing you soon, M. Gary Greenbaum, DDS
Dave Arnn, of Fort Worth, TX, Hermosa Heights, lot #2 I think Hermosa Heights ia in a great location, because of the convenience of the shopping center. Having the only super market, gym, spa, and pharmacy in Hermosa gives it high marks on my list and also the bonus of two full-service restaurants.

Joel and Heather Siegel, of Miami, FL If Playa Hermosa is paradise then Hermosa Heights is heaven.Playa Hermosa is the Puerto Valarta of the late 60's and early 70's.Small, quaint and very friendly. We purchased this slice of heaven for our family to enjoy for many years to come. We are very excited about the friends we make in this wonderful development as well as the community that surrounds us.
Mayo and Pearl Friedlis, of Potomac, MD While we were looking for a coastal property, it was hard to find what we found in Hermosa Heights anywhere else. What they offer is a view that is almost too good to be true in an intensely interesting country, with a stable political environment. And yes, your dollars do go farther in Costa Rica. So here is an opportunity for capital appreciation, in, most importantly, a unique community that will feel comfortable and familiar because of the people who live there.

WHY I INVESTED IN HERMOSA HEIGHTS
By Gary A. Weinstein, of Takoma Park, Md.
About 4 years ago I decided to invest in real estate outside the U.S. After exploring many options, I recently bought two lots at Hermosa Heights in Costa Rica. Here's why:
Basically, as described below, there are good reasons to believe values will climb steadily, perhaps radically. And, I believe firmly that Hermosa Heights is a special place that offers an unusually good opportunity to invest and build. I plan to sell one lot and build a villa on the other lot, to use as a vacation/retirement home and rental property.
When I started to research international real estate investing, I was skeptical of
claims that Costa Rica would be "the next Hawaii," with soaring property values.
As a journalist and lawyer, I'm trained to be skeptical, to research thoroughly,
and to be cautious and conservative. So I visited Costa Rica many times and
spoke with everyone I could find who could offer an an informed, unbiased
opinion on whether to invest in Hermosa Heights and Costa Rica. I looked for
people with no stake in Hermosa Heights, and spoke with U.S. and Costa Rica
realtors, investors, and lawyers. In Guanacaste and other parts of Costa Rica, I
spoke with businesspeople, long-time residents, and others. And I read
everything relevant I could find.
My basic findings?
1. Many knowledgeable and experienced professionals believe that Costa Rican property values near beaches will rise steadily, and perhaps soar -- and that Hermosa Heights offers a great opportunity for investors.
2. Hermosa Heights is an exceptional project to invest and live in because it's beautiful, with some breathtaking lots; it has a great location near a nice beach and beach town; it's a sound concept that will attract a wide range of people; it offers an unusual opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a real estate project that will grow in value, and get better over time; the project's owner has vision and know-how, and has shown great care and attention to detail, with an eye on making Hermosa Heights a great place to live and invest, for a long time.
* * *
Beyond those two important points, I've spent considerable time in Playa Hermosa, and have come to love the area because of its beauty; the slow pace of life (with plenty of opportunities for exciting adventure); the kind and friendly people; and the many fun things to do in and near Playa Hermosa. Each time I visit, I love it more.
The buying process was simple. I remain confident it was a wise decision, and look forward to my time at Hermosa Heights. There's a handful of things I recommend enthusiastically, without hesitation, to friends and relatives: buying property at Hermosa Heights is one of them.
